ABC Technologies had a new client contract which required an expansion to their existing facility. Denham-Blythe provided creative design-build solutions for this difficult project site.

• Lowered the new expansions finished floor elevation 8’ below the existing floor elevation to greatly reduce site complications 

• Designed an interior 2-story, 19,100 sf office building within the main facility envelope 

• Rearranged initial programming to relocate several maintenance requirements onto a 13,800 sf mezzanine 

• Placed an underground storm water detention system 

• Collaborated closely with city to create new public street and provide clearance for firetruck turnaround 

• Engineered building steel for capacity of a future 40-ton overhead crane 

• Provided seven loading dock positions
